It’s a dream to be able to do art for STS9, to celebrate the magic of one of my favorite bands ever. Some of my best live music experiences have been at STS9 shows, go see them play if you haven’t.

This is the original pen & ink drawing I made that got used as the poster art for STS9’s 2024 Charleston run.
This drawing was made stream-of-consciousness style with absolutely no planning whatsoever. It was a quiet saturday evening and I just started drawing with a black pen on a large piece of paper and this is what came out. I was absolutely thrilled that it was used by STS9.
Signed and ready for framing - UV Fixative applied.
There is one water spot that wrinkles the paper slightly. It will flatten out and won’t be noticeable at all if the drawing is framed.

I have a few white paper prints and a few foil posters.
This run of shows at the Bellwether commemorates the release of the bands fantastic new album Human Dream as well as the 20th Anniversary of their album Artifact. I’m so honored to have worked on this poster with Taylor.
Artwork was made with a combination of digital and analog methods in an attempt to mirror how the band makes music. I made a series of large ink paintings that I scanned and collaged digitally to create the background for this poster. All details hand drawn by Taylor and I :)
